Turning experience into reusable methods
A reusable method explains its problem, conditions, steps and checks. It is more than instructions copied from one successful attempt.
Begin with a defined task
Record required information and situations where the method does not apply. A content checklist, for example, needs its article type, brand references and publishing channel to avoid inappropriate reuse.
Preserve reasons as well as steps
Separate fixed actions from judgments that need a person. Explain important tradeoffs so readers can recognize when to follow the method and when to stop for clarification.
Check against real results
Record where the method was used, what failed and what changed. A single pass supplies limited evidence; adoption in a new setting still requires relevant validation.
Link this handbook to deeper articles
The handbook gives shared methods while capability articles examine individual subjects. Examples, sources and limitations are developed in those articles so concise entry points remain connected to deeper explanations.
